Michael Feerer, Executive Director of the Whatcom Million Trees Project, will provide an overview of the project and how we can get involved.
Steven M. Nordeen, COB Parks Department Maintenance Manager, will update us on the status of the 5 mature cherry trees on 10th at McKenzie.
Two other asks/updates:
Volunteers needed for the 34th Annual FAIRHAVEN PLANT AND TREE SALE on MARCH 26. Volunteer for an hour the day of the event or help distribute flyers. Do plan to shop at the sale in support of local vendors!

METERED PARKING IS COMING TO FAIRHAVEN beginning May 1, 2022 starting at $1 an hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday - Saturday. It will be a progressive pricing model to deter those who monopolize parking spots. Reduced parking permits will be available for some low income/ disabled residents.
