Hillcrest Church Parking Lot
Bellingham, Wash. – Now in its 38th year supporting small growers and local non-profits, garden lovers everywhere are invited to Fairhaven Plant & Tree Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 28 at the Hillcrest Church Parking Lot (corner of Old Fairhaven Pkwy and 14th St.).
This one-day extravaganza offers shoppers the chance to purchase beautiful plants and other garden items directly from a variety of community-minded local and regional growers. Garden lovers will find a huge range of perennials, veggie starts, specialty grasses, carnivorous plants, ornamentals, trees, native plants, specialty edibles, herbs, berries, bamboo, metal art, and much more.
Vendors donate a portion of sales to Fairhaven Neighbors, which in turn uses proceeds for neighborhood projects and to help support other local non-profits. Previous beneficiaries have included Bellingham Food Bank, the Community Boating Center, Whatcom Land Trust, Max Higbee Center, HomesNow and Dementia Support Northwest.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend (please pay individual vendors).
